Hi, I'm Shannon

If you’re considering overhauling your look, you might wonder where you can find fashion inspiration. There are many different places you can find it, both online and off. Magazines, celebrity websites and social media pages, digital fashion publications, online retailers, and fashion brand social media pages can all provide inspiration for different fashion looks. We’ll provide information on that in this blog.

The 5 Best Places for Fashion Inspiration

Here are our 5 favorite ways for getting inspired to try out new fashion trends.

1. Major Magazine Outlets

Fashion magazines are a great resource for information on the latest trends and brand information. Harper’s Bazaar, Vogue, InStyle, Elle, and other names are great places to find a ton of inspiration. They have connections with the best designers and stylists worldwide, so you’ll discover a new fashion, and new style tips to try.

A monthly subscription can be purchased for a reasonable price, and it can even be obtained electronically. However, you can also look at the content online for free. There are many articles about the latest fashion trends, and interesting stories about celebrity style.

2. Celebrity Style

A lot of celebrities have great style. It’s easy to get the full ideas of their personal style because of the internet. Find inspiring outfits on Pinterest or Google, then recreate them using your wardrobe.

You can also make a shopping list of what you need and don’t have in your closet. Some of the best celebrities that can show you how to dress like a lady are Miranda Kerr, Rosie Huntington-Whitely, Gigi Hadid, Kendall Jenner, and Chrissy Teigen. It’s also good to follow celebrity style if you’re looking for ideas because they’re always ahead of their time. If you don’t want to copy a look completely, add a personal touch to customize it.

3. Digital Fashion Publications

Digital publications can also match the quality of major magazine outlets, especially if you’re looking for a more relatable perspective on the fashion world. The writers and editors forecast trends from around the world and summarize them into aspirational and accessible content. Some great digital fashion publications to follow include:

We Wore What Blog

Fashion expert Danielle Bernstein writes this blog. Scrolling through her posts and viewing her pictures may inspire your next outfit. You can also browse the latest trends and styles on her online store. She writes short, but informative posts. Each post has a carousel of the clothing items featured in it. If you select a product, you’re taken to a store page. Even though some products are very pricey, she often has inexpensive finds that will show you how to dress attractively as a woman on a budget.

Sincerely Jules

This blog was created in 2009 by aspiring fashionista Julie Sarina. Since then, it’s become a key source of outfit inspiration. Her blog’s fashion section has hundreds of fashionable styles for every occasion or season. She includes posts about floral patterns, summer sneakers, bathing suits, and many other trends.

A highlight of this blog is the gorgeous photos in each post. Each post has detailed photos of each outfit against attractive backdrops. There are close-ups of the shoes, tops, handbags, and every piece of the look. It makes you want to emulate her style.

In the Frow

This is fashionista Victoria Magrath’s lifestyle and fashion blog. You’ll get fashion and beauty advice from someone who has worked with Dior, Jimmy Choo, Versace, Louis Vuitton, L’Oreal, and Coach, among others. Her blog includes information on outfits, beauty tips, and travel ideas. While the posts are brief, they usually feature several product collections and close-up images of her wearing some.

You can shop items from her wardrobe directly to replicate your favorite looks. This is an excellent site for outfit ideas and inspiration. Check out her looks, and you’re sure to find one that doesn’t say “I don’t know how to dress.”

4. Online Retailers

Often, people overlook the fact that online retailers offer fashion inspiration as well – they don’t just sell products all the time. Stores like Net-A-Porter, Shopbob, Matches Fashion, and Nordstrom all excel at putting together lookbooks, styling tips, and designer features. This is a great way to keep up with the latest styles and brands.

5. Social Media

Whatever your style icons are, there’s no better place to find style inspiration than social media sites like Instagram. Instagram is great because it allows you to follow different hashtags for specific styles you love. It’s great to scroll Instagram accounts and save any inspiring image. You can save outfit ideas and pieces on your wish list in different collections on Instagram, then save complete outfits for the upcoming season from women’s fashion websites to your own boards on Pinterest too.

Find Your Fashion Inspiration

Those are some of the places you can find fashion inspiration. Life may not be perfect, but your outfit can be – remember your body type as you look at different looks. You could start by looking for celebrities with your specific body type, then look at the outfits they wear. Or search for digital fashion publications that feature outfits for your body type. No matter where you go for inspiration, if you remember your body type, you’re sure to find outfits that inspire you and make you feel like a lady of style.
